Hello LLAW members!
The LLAW Grants Committee is seeking applications for the 2022/2023 fiscal year for professional development opportunities for our members! These include AALL-related meetings and programs, and also those outside of AALL. The Committee will accept applications on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. Please consider applying for even a partial grant to offset your expenses.
In selecting grant recipients, the Grants Committee will consider: (1) lack of financial assistance from employer; (2) commitment to law librarianship as demonstrated by employment record and professional activities; (3) participation in LLAW and potential benefit to the chapter; (4) potential benefit to the applicant for enhancing skills and professional development; and, (5) whether the applicant has been awarded a LLAW grant previously.
The award recipient shall share his/her experience with other LLAW members by writing a short summary of the program(s) attended, which will be included in the LLAW Newsletter.
